39 Weeks. Am I done yet?

How Far along: 39 weeks

Baby size: Bigger than last week?

Total weight gain: 17-18ish.

Maternity clothes: Definitely, though not all of them are even long enough.

Sleep: Ugh, give me more. Please. Really, if certain small members of the household would just shut up and let me sleep, I'd get a nap every day (when I'm home), and that would be nice.

Best Moment this week: Christmas :-), and the Christmas party at the in-laws' house.

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: Same old, same old. Nothing exciting.

Belly button: I still have one.

Cravings: Food is good. Chocolate and peppermint are pretty necessary, as well as seasonally available, so that's good. Weirdly I've craved those cherry cordial chocolates, which I really don't generally even like.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Same stuff: being able to get around comfortably, not having PUPPPs and SPD, etc. Also, not living with my parents. I may not miss that as much as C does, though.

Stretch Marks: No new ones since last week as far as I have noticed.

What is different this time around: Pretty much everything. Except the part about there being a baby in my belly, and having PUPPPs. Also, living with my parents.

What I am looking forward to this week: Having a baby? Starting maternity leave? Having 3 final days at work? Some combination of those things?

38 Weeks!

How Far along: 38 weeks

Baby size: Full length still (so... 19-21 inches) and somewhere around 6 1/2-7 1/2 pounds

Total weight gain: 16ish? Our scale is packed, but at the doctor's yesterday I was 2 pounds less than 2 weeks ago, so I'm guessing. The slight loss is what I've experienced at the end of both other pregnancies, too, so not really surprising, and it means baby will be here soon (duh).

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: Well, I need more than I've been getting. Stupid stress and being frickin busy. It is infinitely more comfortable to be in my bed than sharing a twin with Dee, though.

Best Moment this week: Closing on the house! Now to find a new one...

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: Hah. Yeah. Moderately uncomfortable contractions 7-12 minutes apart for 4 days now. Whee.

Belly button: Still confused. Mostly out but often flat. Still trying to be a volcano.

Cravings: Food is good.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Pretty much the same things as last week, plus I miss not being so itchy.

Stretch Marks: I think a few small ones, which would explain the massive flair up of PUPPPs last week. It's kind of hard to tell though, because they could be old ones that are all red and irritated from scratching.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. I did also find out I'm Group B Strep positive, so yay for IV antibiotics in labor... though according to the nurse yesterday, it really doesn't change much in terms of how my labor will go/how I can manage it.

What I am looking forward to this week: Christmas! And maybe a baby? But being way, way, way less stressed out.

37 Weeks!

How Far along: 37 weeks. Hi full term (ish... I guess early term?)

Baby size: Full length still (so... 19-21 inches) and somewhere around 6 1/2 pounds.

Total weight gain: 18ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I miss sleeping all night comfortably. But I definitely need more sleep, and it must be on a mountain of pillows. Poor C has to share a bed with the mountain and me.

Best Moment this week: Hmm. I'm going with discovering the magic that is Pine Tar Soap for PUPPPs.

Movement: Yep. She's squirmy and big.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: Braxton-Hicks contractions. Those suckers are getting serious but not regular yet. She's dropped so now there are no counters I can walk comfortably up to, and also, I have a big old baby head in my pelvis pushing on things.

Belly button: Still confused. Mostly out but often flat. Still trying to be a volcano.

Cravings: Chocolate, in a variety of forms. I still really want a rum and Coke. Mayo + bacon is still a fantastic combination.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Pretty much the same things as last week, plus I miss not being so itchy.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones, as far as I can tell, but that stupid PUPPPs rash makes it really hard to see. Pine Tar Soap is awesome, though.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. I did also find out I'm Group B Strep positive, so yay for IV antibiotics in labor...

What I am looking forward to this week: Moving up to my mom's house, getting all the final details done so we can close next Friday.

36 Weeks!

How Far along: 36 weeks

Baby size: Full length (so... 19-21 inches, based on my babies) and somewhere around 6 pounds. She's just bulking up at this point. We shall see how big she is when she comes out. I'm predicting 7.5-8 pounds if she makes it to her due date. According to this estimating equation, she's about 6.8 pounds right now. Um. That's bigger than Dee was at birth! I'd believe it though.

Total weight gain: 18ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I miss sleeping all night comfortably. But I definitely need more sleep, and it must be on a mountain of pillows. Poor C has to share a bed with the mountain and me.

Best Moment this week: We had lots of fun shopping on Sunday at little local stores. I also received my Secret Santa gift and it made me really happy. Ultrasound at my 36 week appt today confirmed that she's head down and still a girl. :-)

Movement: Yep. She's squirmy and big.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: Braxton-Hicks contractions are decently uncomfortable and frequent but not doing anything they shouldn't be. Occasional "real" contractions are appearing. Baby has dropped a bit so heartburn is better. This also means that I waddle, because dammit, when your pelvic symphisis joint doesn't work, and your baby drops her big old head down further, that's just what happens.

Belly button: Still like a tiny volcano. Out, but trying really hard not to be, and sometimes just flat.

Cravings: Peppermint bark...chocolate... Indian fry bread = YUM.

Aversions: Nothing new.  I really don't feel well after eating eggs for breakfast, which is pretty standard for my final stretch in all 3 pregnancies now.

What I miss: I really miss running and being able to function and move around without being in pain. I desperately want to not be slow and hobbly and waddly but I think that's just not going to happen. I miss being able to use sinks/counters without my belly being in the way and me having to lean over awkwardly (or lift my belly up to rest on the counted...ugh). I miss being able to put on shoes easily/bending over. I miss sleeping and not having heartburn frequently.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones :-) but that stupid PUPPPs rash is flaring up again (OH GOD THE ITCHING). The kids like helping to scratch my belly. Related: the OB I saw today said that my rash was sort of textbook picture PUPPPs. Yay? She was really, really awesome though. I liked her a lot.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Generally for the better, but the SPD I could do without.

What I am looking forward to this week: Sorting more stuff to decide what we need to bring to my mom's house and what needs to be/can be stored. Decorating a tree at my mom's house with the kids and seeing them getting excited about Christmas. Looking at houses tomorrow! YAY!!! Knock on wood we find one we love and can actually get an offer in.

35 Weeks/35 Days Left (in theory)

How Far along: 35 weeks?!

Baby size: 18-20" and somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-6 pounds. Apparently this makes her about the size of a small chicken, which I find funny.

Total weight gain: 17ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I like sleep a lot. I would like more of it. I actually feel like I'm as exhausted as the first trimester again.

Best Moment this week: Selling our house :-) and Thanksgiving.

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions are decently uncomfortable but not doing anything they shouldn't be.

Belly button: Kind of like a volcano. Technically out, but trying really hard not to be.

Cravings: Peppermint bark...chocolate... that's about it.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: The same things, plus I really miss running and being able to function and move around without being in pain. I desperately want to not be slow and hobbly but I think that's just not going to happen. I miss being able to use sinks/counters without my belly being in the way and me having to lean over awkwardly. I miss being able to put on shoes easily.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones :-) but that stupid PUPPPs rash is flaring up again.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Generally for the better, but the SPD I could do without.

What I am looking forward to this week:  I have no idea. Maybe getting our shiznit organized better so we can figure out what to send into storage and what essentials we need to keep out for us and the kids to stay at my parents' house for a few weeks. Probably doing some Christmas shopping, picking up a couple baby essentials that we don't have any more (boppy, baby bathtub) which we could potentially need before Christmas/while staying with my parents. We also have Friend Thanksgiving tomorrow.

34 Weeks. Hold me?

How Far along: 34 weeks

Baby size: 18"ish and about 5 pounds

Total weight gain: 17ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I like sleep a lot. I would like more of it.

Best Moment this week: LISTING OUR HOUSE!! YAY!!! Andplusalso we "won" a $250 gift card for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for only $50 from a silent auction at J 's school. School gets money, we get money for our new house when that happens, win/win!

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions are getting more uncomfortable, but nothing exciting (which is great)

Belly button: Well... in the morning it's in-ish, but in the evening it's out, so, I guess confused.

Cravings: Chocolate. Especially chocolate ice cream/milk shakes. Especially especially the GoodTimes flavor of the month frozen custard from October, but it's not October any more so I can't get it. Le sigh.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: The same things, plus I really miss running and being able to function and move around without being in pain. I desperately want to not be slow and hobbly but I think that's just not going to happen.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Generally for the better, but the SPD I could do without.

What I am looking forward to this week:  Getting offers? Selling our house? Not losing my mind?

33 Weeks!

How Far along: 33 weeks

Baby size: 18"ish and about 4 1/2-5 pounds

Total weight gain: 16 pounds

Maternity clothes: Yes. I think I need another shirt or two (again) because even some of my maternity shirts are getting short...Also, I've commandeered one of C's winter coats.

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more. I'm seriously exhausted by like 7pm every day. Oy.

Best Moment this week: Getting my maternity support belt, haha. Do I know how to party or what?! But seriously, I can actually walk normally again, it's awesome!

Movement: Yes. Lots. She's very strong.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions, but nothing exciting (which is great)

Belly button: As Dee put it, it's "pretty puffed out" but still kind of flat... so not in anymore.

Cravings: Nothing new. :-)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux every day. Being able to get comfortable at night.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones, and the rash seems to be under control! Yay!

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Also, just for fun, I found a formula that is as reliable as ultrasound at predicting baby size (according to an actual scientific study!). Assuming this girl goes to 40 weeks, she may be 8.1 pounds. That's more than a pound bigger than both my previous kiddos! To be fair though, I also calculated it for my other two and it was 11-17% high for both of them, so maybe she'll only be...7.2 pounds. Hmm. Still bigger, but I'm thinking she'll be closer to 8, because I've felt her giant head in there.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting the house sparkly for pictures to list on Wednesday (didn't get done this week because it was like Canada cold so we all sort of hunkered down and just tried to be warm).

32 Weeks. Holy shiznit.

How Far along: 32 weeks

Baby size: 17"ish and about 4 pounds

Total weight gain: 14-15 pounds depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: Progress on the house, just finishing stuff left. Also, finding out that the realtor wants to list the house for $15K higher than originally, and that she's really impressed with what we've done. :-)

Movement: Yes. Lots. She's strong enough to make uncomfortable jabs (like being jab-tickled from the inside) and she gets the hiccups a decent amount of time.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions, but nothing exciting.

Belly button: In. Ish.

Cravings: Chocolate. Coffee (though really, it's more an I need coffee thing...)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux every day. Being able to walk without being in pain.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones, but still itching like a mofo and if I skip a day on the steroid cream the PUPPPs rash flares more.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. The SPD/instability is new and sucky, but mostly manageable as long as I do the exercises to strengthen things. It's definitely getting worse, though, my whole pelvic bone just aches when I get up in the morning or from sitting down a while.

What I am looking forward to this week: LISTING THE HOUSE! EEEEEP! And getting a maternity support belt. Boy do I know how to live it up.

31 Weeks! ~ Happy Halloween! ~

How Far along: 31 weeks

Baby size: 17"ish and about 3- 3 1/2 pounds

Total weight gain: 14-15 pounds, depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: Setting an actual date (in about 2 weeks) to list the house, get photos done, etc. And getting our costumes done in time for Halloween, haha. And confirming that Little Cat C is indeed head down (which I knew, but still, nice to see on ultrasound).

Movement: Yes. Lots. Still not as much as Dee, which is very nice.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions a lot. Fortunately (as we learned in a fun little visit to the hospital for monitoring) they aren't actually doing anything in terms of progress, which is very good. I get to drink even *more* water than I have been, and start taking that Cramp Bark Tincture again *gag* as needed but it's better than taking Procardia with the possible side effects of that...

Belly button: In. Ish.

Cravings: hot chocolate, onion rings, chocolate in general

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux for hours every day.

Stretch Marks: No new ones but I still have (super mild) PUPPP. Fortunately, I also have prescription strength steroid ointment which seems to knock down the itching for a couple days at a time as long as I apply enough and don't mix it with coconut oil (dilutes it too much).

What is different this time around: Mostly everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: Finishing touches on the house, Halloween/Trick or Treating with the kids. Buying a winter coat for myself and J this weekend (since his is packed and we don't know which box it's in, and mine... doesn't fit at the moment). Also unpacking/repacking the kid's clothes, because we packed their winter stuff... (optimism = not so realistic, actually).

Things left to do...(Updated again)

I feel like we have *so* much left to do on the house before we can put it on the market. I've decided that putting up a list somewhere will help me feel like we're making progress. Of course, if things would stop BREAKING we could make more freaking progress! We also all need to stop getting sick...

2. Laminate floors! (kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway) - DONE!!!
3. Carpet in bedrooms

10/6: Completed rooms: Dining Room, Master Bath

10/24: Completed rooms: Dining room, master bath, kitchen (except baseboard paint), kids' room (except baseboard paint), kids' closet and master walk-in closet (those are totally rooms, shut up)

10/30: Everything is done except the baseboards being caulked and painted and the master bedroom finished being painted. My project for the weekend. Yay!

30 Weeks

How Far along: 30 weeks...not much else to say about it!

Baby size: 16"ish and about 2 1/2-3 pounds

Total weight gain: 14-15 pounds, depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: My boss knew I was having a rough week and gave my family two butterbraids, and also we got in touch with the realtor and are going to have her come by on Monday or Tuesday to do pics and list the house!

Movement: Yes. Lots. Still not as much as Dee, which is very nice. She seems much more like J, temperament wise.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions a lot. But they go away when I lay down, take a bath, drink a little wine, drink some water, go pee... I know what preterm labor is like, so I'm being cautious and aware.

Belly button: In. Ish. Kinda star shaped with an umbrella-y thing over it...

Cravings: hot chocolate... breakfast sausage. That sounds lovely. And smoothies (mainly because I have a cold again. Whee!)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux for hours every day. Sleeping all night long, but that's as much Dee as anything else.

Stretch Marks:  No new ones but I'm starting to get a bit of a rash on my belly. Again. Hello PUPPP, I missed you. NOT. And apparently it doesn't require visible/new stretch marks to arrive, nor does it adhere to the "first pregnancy only" thing or the "usually happens with boys" (since I have now gotten it with all 3. 7% of multiparous women with PUPPP report having had it with prior pregnancies. Lucky me). I really, really hope it does not get worse. The itching may drive me insane. Ugh.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: Family birthday party on Saturday, actually finishing the house since we're on the mend from our colds, and listing the house! Come on, house seekers and give us lots of money!

Friday, October 17, 2014

29 Weeks!

How Far along: 29 weeks. What the what?!

Baby size: 15"-17" and about 2 1/2 pounds

Total weight gain: 13-14 pounds, depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep (although the shirt I'm wearing today is not maternity, it is actually longer than some of my maternity tops. Hmm.)

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: Baby wiggles, hearing her heartbeat on the doppler at my appointment today, and finishing the cabinets (do I know how to party or do I know how to party?).

Movement: Yes. Lots. Still not as much/crazy as Dee, which is very nice.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions a couple times an hour, sometimes more. Nothing worrying, just the same as with Dee.

Belly button: In. Ish. Kinda star shaped with an umbrella-y thing over it...

Cravings: hot chocolate... breakfast sausage. That sounds lovely.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux for hours every day. Sleeping all night long, but that's as much Dee as anything else (especially the last couple nights).

Stretch Marks: No new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. I did have sugar in my urine sample at my appointment this morning, so I guess I need to cut back on the carbs and eat some protein. Breakfast burritos here I come :-p. We'll re-evaluate if that's working at my next appointment.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting the house listed on Tuesday (GOING TO HAPPEN. Which reminds me, I need to email the realtor...) and hopefully start house hunting for real instead of just online. I really hope this process goes fast and smoothly, because I just have no energy for anything fun any more, or even energy to think about doing fun things. All my brain power is going to house stuff.

Musings

Last night I was in our basement, painting cabinets (for the kitchen, final coat of paint before the protective top coat...The end is in sight). J and Dee came down to "hang out" and it turned into J sitting on a ball, using two plastic arrows to tap out a song on one of the metal support poles (to accommodate the expansion and contraction of the clay-soil our house is on). Dee was playing a "video game" that involved killing vampires so they wouldn't eat her baby that she brought down. J saw a giant (like 1") cricket and thought it was a spider, and nearly freaked out, but we caught the cricket in a jar (female, massively long ovipositor clearly visible) and Dee proudly marched the jar upstairs to show C, and ask him to please release the girl cricket outside. J visibly relaxed once the monster bug was out of his realm. I resumed painting.

I made pumpkin cookies to bring in to work today. Of course I had to eat a couple before bed, so I paid with heartburn and reflux all night, compounded by Dee getting up 3 (only three?) times, as well as needing to pee and chomp some more papaya enzyme tablets.

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. I don't know if I can claim a loss I'm not even sure was really a loss. I don't want to falsely acknowledge something that never happened, but I also feel like I should acknowledge a loss that I had, confirmed by a stupid pee stick or not. I also feel, in my core, that Little Cat C (baby 3's current and possible forever bloggy nickname) was the child that tried to come then, and came back again. The child that was meant to be and fought like hell to show up on this earth. Do I mourn the loss of a child that came back? Of a child meant to be mine from the first? Or do I accept that I never knew if I was pregnant back then and move on? I never wanted to be part of the loss "club" but I also never wanted to be in limbo.

The melancholy persists, Little Cat C rolls gently in her sleep, meant to be mine.

28 Weeks. How is this going so fast?!

How Far along: 28 weeks O.o

Baby size: 15"+ and about 2 1/2 pounds

Total weight gain: 12-13, depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: Got a Giant Microbe egg cell at the product show on Tuesday :-).

Movement: Yes. She likes to have random dance/spazz parties.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions a couple times an hour, sometimes more. Nothing worrying, just the same as with Dee.

Belly button: In. Ish.

Cravings: Pumpkin stuff, brownies, but I haven't the energy to actually make them, and also, many cravings are not worth the heartburn. :-/

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux for hours every day.

Stretch Marks: No new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Mostly everything.Way more heartburn/reflux this time. Maybe she'll have more hair than her siblings. The contractions are the same as the other two, hopefully not going to do what they did with J but I am keeping an eye on things. I'm also borderline anemic (pretty sure I still am, I'm going to request they check again at my next appt) which hasn't been an issue during pregnancy before.

What I am looking forward to this week: Finishing the house. Getting it listed. YES. This will happen. I don't anticipate much relaxation this weekend (shocking).

27 Weeks... Why, hello 3rd trimester!

How Far along: 27 weeks, hello 3rd trimester!

Baby size: 14"-15" and about 2 pounds. According to the Bump, that's about the size of a rutabaga. Go home Bump, you're drunk.

Total weight gain: 11ish

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: I like sleep. Sleep is lovely. Except when heartburn happens.

Best Moment this week: Random Starbucks card in my work mail this week :-).

Movement: Yep, a lot when she's awake. When she's asleep she's like a rock.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions a couple times an hour.

Belly button: In, getting flatter.

Cravings: Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Caramel apples. Basically fall foods. Crab legs.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without waking up to pee at night, not having heartburn if I eat too close to bedtime. Being able to eat a big meal. Being able to bend over. My pelvis not being sore.

Stretch Marks: No new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Mostly everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: More house progress. No way in hell are we getting the house listed this weekend, but we're making leaps and bounds in progress. My plans for the weekend are to paint the master bathroom and do all the finishing stuff on the other bathroom, and get the kids' room painted.

Also, just for funzies:

Pregnancy #1: at the end of my second trimester, I had gained 15 pounds, and had gestational diabetes (though I didn't know it yet).

Pregnancy #2: at the end of my second trimester, I had gained 11 pounds.

Pregnancy #3: at the end of my second trimester, I have gained 11 pounds! Weird, but cool, and I have no idea why my belly is so enormous. I'm not sure how much bigger I'll get over the next 3 months, even though it's clearly ALL belly.

29 weeks pregnant with J (don't have a 27 weeks pic)
27 weeks pregnant with Dee

And 27 weeks pregnant with #3. Yikes. Hold me, I'm frightened.

26 Weeks, Or, The Last Hurrah of Trimester 2.

How Far along: 26 weeks!

Baby size: 14" and almost 2 pounds. According to the Bump, that's about the size of a head of lettuce. Um. What? Who has ever seen a 2 pound head of lettuce? That's insane!

Total weight gain: 10ish

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: I like sleep. Sleep is lovely. Except when heartburn happens.

Best Moment this week: More baby wiggles. Hmm. Otherwise...Making progress on the house. I also finished reading/listening to the audiobook for The Guild of the Cowry Catchers Complete Series, which is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite series EVER.

Movement: Yep. Lots and lots. But only when she's awake. She's not doing anything weird like her siblings did (yet), so that's good. She likes to stick her butt out.

Gender:  Girl

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions a few times a day.

Belly button: In, but doing weird things so it looks like a tiny volcano sometimes.

Cravings: Pumpkin spice lattes (preferably homemade, but I've discovered that 1 pump of syrup in a Tall one at Sbux is actually pretty close to perfect), pumpkin bread/cookies (really need to make them!), meatball sandwiches. Sushi, of course. :-) No pica, which is good. I guess it means I'm not super anemic, just still borderline.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without waking up to pee at night, not having heartburn if I eat too close to bedtime. Being able to eat a big meal.

Stretch Marks: No new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Everything, pretty much. Except I think my belly button did this with Dee too.

What I am looking forward to this week: More house progress, hopefully finish packing more. Time is ticking to get done with it! We want to list the house in the 1st weekend of Oct, so... Yikes!

Friday, September 19, 2014

25 Weeks!

How Far along: 25 weeks! OMG.

Baby size: Cauliflower. I am getting a bit suspicious about how they decide what food item best matches baby. Hmm. About 13" and 1.5ish pounds.

Total weight gain: 9ish

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: I like sleep. Sleep is lovely.

Best Moment this week: Gem and Fossil show with the kids and a friend, and making lots of progress on the cabinets. Well, I say lots. Making progress. Oh, and I passed the 1 hour glucose test, so that's exciting.

Movement: Yes. A lot, when she's awake. She was having a dance party after I drank my nasty awful glucose drink yesterday. And we got a box of clothes from 0-3 months up to 5T for the girls (EEE! GIRLS!), and Dee had a great time helping to sort through it. :-)

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions once in a while.

Belly button: In. But doing weird things.

Cravings: Chocolate. Sushi (omg I want this so badly, but I will wait until I am not sick so I can enjoy it more). Pumpkin bread (still need to make this). Salami and avocado and cheese sandwiches. MMM.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without waking up to pee at night. Not having this stupid cough.

Stretch Marks: No new ones, yay!

What is different this time around: Everything!

What I am looking forward to this week: Cabinet transformationing, continued :-). And hopefully this cough going away. And maybe starting to paint the walls, and getting a new toilet and getting a new hood for the stove. Whee!

24 Weeks. Oh. My. Monkeys.

How Far along: 24 weeks! Happy viability week, baby has a 50% chance of surviving if born now. Please don't test that, baby. Also, this means (yay math!) that I only have 16 weeks left.

Baby size: Cantaloupe. Hmm. About 12" and 1.25ish pounds.

Total weight gain: 8.5-9ish

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: I like sleep. This week has been hard, since I've been sick and it's really hard to fall back asleep or stay asleep with all the snot. And now, coughing.

Best Moment this week: My best husband in the whole world finishing our laminate floors, minus the transition strips which we need to get/order, and then starting on the cabinets because I've been so sick.

Movement: Yes. I noticed that she flipped head up for about 5 minutes so I could feel her little head and poke it, rather than her butt, but she must not have liked that much because she flipped back over pretty fast.

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!

Labor signs: N/A, BH contractions once in a while.

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Chocolate. New England clam chowder. Sushi (omg I want this so badly, but I will wait until I am not sick so I can enjoy it more). Pumpkin bread.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without waking up to pee at night. Not being sick

Stretch Marks: No new ones, yay!

What is different this time around: Everything! It's really weird being sick while pregnant this time, because I REALLY only feel crappy from this cold, and have no issues at all from the pregnancy side, though round ligament pain happens periodically. Ouch. Coughing sucks because my abdominal muscles aren't working but other than that it's just a regular cold.

What I am looking forward to this week: Cabinet transformationing :-). Really. It's my project while C is hunting. And not being sick any more. And single-mom staying at home for 3 days next week, which will be nice. I hope. I'm also going to the Gem and Fossil show with a friend and the kids this weekend, so that will be fun!

23 Weeks!

How Far along: 23 weeks! This means I only have 17 weeks left. HOLY SHIT.

Baby size: Grapefruit (ick), about 11.5 inches and weighs a pound!

Total weight gain: 8

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: I like sleep. It's starting to get a little tricky to get comfy but once I'm out I'm OUT. Until I wake up to pee.

Best Moment this week: Progress on the house! But really it was the kids both getting to feel their sister kick them. I'm not sure they will appreciate it as much once she's out.

Movement:Yes. She's much calmer than Dee and mellower/gentler than J was.  The kids have both gotten to feel her now, their little faces lighting up makes my day.

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!

Labor signs: N/A, a few BH contractions a few times a day.

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Chocolate. Salami and avocado sandwiches on pretzel rolls. New England clam chowder (ongoing for a while, but I finally got some today). I think this baby has a think for sea food. I still *really* want shrimp with cocktail sauce and crab legs.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without waking up to pee at night.

Stretch Marks: No new ones, yay!

What is different this time around: Everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: Cabinet transformationing :-).And getting over the stupid cold that someone younger than me that is related to me gave me. It was either Dee or my brother J who was at our house doing tile work. Which looks amazing.

22 Weeks!

How Far along: 22 weeks!

Baby size: Papaya (about 11 inches, just under 1 pound)

Total weight gain: 6 1/2ish

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Mmmm, sleep. Can I go back to bed?

Best Moment this week: Finally getting to feel little miss from the outside because she moved parts up far enough to feel!

Movement: Yep. She's been exploring her territory and spending more time upright (or upside-down) and less time transverse, which is good.

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!

Labor signs: N/A, a few BH contractions here and there.

Belly button: In, though it's starting to do the weird umbrella thing again.

Cravings: CARAMEL APPLES. Nomnomnom. And chocolate. And guacamole. SHRIMP. LOTS OF SHRIMP. With cocktail sauce. And crab legs (though I haven't gotten those yet). And steak.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Sleeping without needing my belly supported.

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: More work on the house (are you really surprised?) and seeing how very itchy my belly is going to get. Plus my brother is coming to do our tile this weekend, YAY!

Less Than Awesome

1. Dee waking up from 2-3 am, peeing all over her bed and the floor, and C yelling at her about it because she was screaming at him. All while trying to "let me sleep" because apparently lots of yelling is soothing and restful. NOT.
2. Dee then requiring a bath (her second of the night) because she stank of pee. I was up by this time, because C was clearly not doing his best parenting at that moment in time. J also woke up during this, because he shares a room with his sister. Baby 3 then decided that when I finally got to lay down again, she should have a dance party.
3. Dee waking up *again* at 5am because I "forgot to hug and kiss her goodnight" after I put her down after her bath. At least that time she went back down easily.
4. C being in a really shitty mood this morning (as was I) because we were fucking exhausted. Me more than him, but I'm not going to argue about it. Plus we both had headaches.
5. Shitty morning further enhanced by the battery on one of our cars being dead, so I had to wait until C got back from taking the kids to school so we could jump the other car and I could go to work. So I was late to work.

At least there was coffee left from yesterday in the coffee pot. Ugh. I REALLY hope C gets in a better mood. And that I wake up some.

21 Weeks!

How Far along: 21 weeks!

Baby size: Pomegranate, about 12.5 ounces and 10.5ish inches long head to toe.

Total weight gain: 4-5 pounds

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Mmmm, sleep. I require a body pillow that supports my belly and goes between my knees. I feel so sexy... :-p

Best Moment this week: The kids started school! J started 1st grade! And Dee started preschool!

Movement: Yes! She's still hanging out super low and transverse, so there are lots of little hands and feet wiggling around down there. I hope she turns head down before too much longer.

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!

Labor signs: N/A, but a few BH contractions here and there.

Belly button: In, though it's starting to do the weird umbrella thing it did with Dee.

Cravings: Oreo cookie milk shake (or Spoonbender...), Oreo cookies in general, chicken tikka masala, chocolate, sushi (really just really wanted it badly, not quite a craving)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting more packed, maybe picking up paint this weekend to start painting. Or the cabinet transformations kit to start painting kitchen cabinets. Or maybe hit up Ikea to buy light fixtures, though that can probably wait a couple more weeks til we're closer to done.

Random thought: I may be more than halfway done with the pregnancy, but Baby #3 is like 1/8 of her birth size (weight wise, probably about half her birth length). CRAZYCAKES.

Dee's Latest Adventure

I was working late on Wednesday, and my mom was watching the kids. I got a phone call that essentially said "Dee is fine, but she lost a tooth..."

Of course she did. My rambunctious little crazy girl was running down the hall with her brother, slipped, and fell right on her face. The dentist said it's healing fine, she's just going to have a gappy grin for a few years. We will be watching her other incisor, because it's a wee bit loose, but she'll be fine. And hey, the tooth fairy is coming early! Maybe even for both kids in one night, since J has one that is about to fall out (and the dentist said he needed to work on getting it out...).

20 weeks!

How Far along: 20 weeks!

Baby size: Banana...Lenthwise, I suppose. About 10 inches total and 9 ounces.

Total weight gain: 5 pounds

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Mmmm, sleep.

Best Moment this week: The ultrasound where we learned that the baby is healthy and A GIRL.

Movement: Yes, frequently!

Gender:  IT'S A GIRL!!!!! What the what?!

So ladylike... scratching her butt while sucking her thumb!

Labor signs: N/A, but a few BH contractions here and there.

Belly button: In.

Cravings: V8 (well, actually, a bloody Mary, but I don't even like those... so V8 substitutes), Lucky Charms, s'mores.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: All of it. Including my complete inability to correctly sense the baby's gender.

What I am looking forward to this week: More packing! Getting the bedrooms as cleared out as possible for new carpet being installed in them next week. Finally getting our old fridge out and new fridge in, and getting to use the new one!

19 Weeks

How Far along: 19 weeks!

Baby size: Mango! (about 8.5 oz/ 6 inches CRL)

Total weight gain: 3-4ish pounds

Maternity clothes: Got some new stuff at a sweet consignment sale this weekend. :-) 3 shirts and a pair of khakis for work for $5!

Sleep: Mmmm, sleep.

Best Moment this week: We had a good time visiting C's brother and sister-in-law this weekend. And Dee and I found 4 eggs in their chicken coop which she thought was awesome.

Movement: Yep! This child seems to be a fan of curling into a ball and hanging out as low as possible for naps.

Gender:  Likely a boy (but we find out next Wednesday!!!)

Labor signs: N/A, but a few BH contractions here and there.

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Salami with avocado and cheddar and lots of mayonnaise. Mmmmm. Chocolate. Milk.

Aversions: Nothing new, though baby doesn't really like the idea of ham.

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: All of it.

What I am looking forward to this week: Camping with C's family this weekend, and more packing, and more house work.

Friday, August 1, 2014

18 Weeks

How Far along: 18 weeks!

Baby size: Sweet potato (about 8-10 inches and 6 ounces)

Total weight gain: +2

Maternity clothes: Pants, 2 shirts, still need to buy some new stuff. Though the cooler weather this week allowed me to test some of my long sleeved shirts, and many of them are long enough to last a while. Maybe not til December but a while yet.

Sleep: Love sleep. Don't love Dee waking me up when she has nightmares.

Best Moment this week: More baby wiggles! And we had fun camping this weekend, in spite of the weather. I took the kids "swimming" in the lake. Which was revolting but they had lots of fun.

Movement: Yep, every day. Baby seems mellow, like J, rather than crazy like Dee, but I definitely get regular wiggles and pokes!

Gender:  Likely a boy.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Peaches, cutlets (which must be venison, and preferably served with mashed potatoes and gravy and creamed corn, but really only the creamed corn is essential right now),

Aversions: nothing really new, though baby doesn't really like the idea of ham.

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Pretty much everything.I'm even less itchy than before! But still a little itchier than normal.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting to use our new appliances (so far, awesome), finishing the floors (maybe even getting to the kitchen, but not likely yet), loads more packing. Oy.

17 Weeks!

How Far along: 17 weeks!

Baby size: Onion (this baby has an aversion to onion smell, so at least no more comparing it to delicious food, I guess), about 5" from head to butt.

Total weight gain: about +2lbs

Maternity clothes: Pants, 2 shirts, still need to buy new stuff. My clothing is depleted after packing the stuff that is too short.

Sleep: Love sleep.

Best Moment this week: Live Welcome to Night Vale! And the Melting Pot for dinner. Mmmmm.

Movement: Yep, every day.

Gender:  Likely a boy.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Hmmm. Nothing that I can think of, really, though the fondue was AMAZING. Peaches, I guess. I really can't get enough peaches.

Aversions: Random food smells, pickles

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Pretty much everything.

What I am looking forward to this week: More packing, cleaning, finishing the laminate floors (which we haven't gotten to yet). Also the realtor and the stager are coming by on Tuesday to tell us colors of tile, etc. And we're getting our new appliances on Tuesday. Boy do we know how to live it up :-).
Camping this weekend should be fun, though.

Know what's awesome?

Going in to your Ibotta account to redeem what you expected to be a $5 Starbucks gift card, to find out that you have more than $10 available so you can get a $10 one! Yay!! Just in time to start fueling my newly available (again) coffee love.

If you haven't signed up for Ibotta, I highly recommend it. You only need to give them an email address, and you basically get money back for buying products that you buy anyway (even cleaning supplies, baby stuff, milk, eggs, movie tickets, etc). You can redeem your cash for PayPal credit, Starbucks cards, iTunes cards, and a number of others as well. You can also link it to Facebook and earn extra cash when you and your friends collectively redeem more than a certain amount each month (though I don't know how long that particular bonus is ongoing). If you want to sign up, here's my referral link: http://ibotta.com/r/yh3hq

Enjoy!

16 Weeks!

How Far along: 16 weeks!

Baby size: Avocado (seriously? Why must they compare my child to delicious food? And would a peach-avocado salad be weird? Because it sounds amazing.)

Total weight gain: about +1

Maternity clothes: Pants, 2 shirts, and I'm noticing that a number of my shirts are getting a bit short. Maybe time to start packing stuff that doesn't fit...and buying some new stuff.

Sleep: I want more sleep.

Best Moment this week: MASSAGE!

Movement: A few times a day, but not really crazy stuff yet.

Gender:  Still thinking boy.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Nectarines/peaches, ice cream bars (with chocolate on the outside), COFFEE which I can tolerate again! YAY!

Aversions: Random food smell, pickles

What I miss: nothing at the moment

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: EVERYTHING. Well. Mostly. Feeling like a normal human being is AMAZING.

What I am looking forward to this week: Going out for our 10th anniversary (which was on the 13th, but we're celebrating tomorrow) for dinner and to see a live Welcome to Nightvale. Woot!
Also, book club tonight! Yay! And less exciting, packing, cleaning, finishing the laminate floors...

15 Weeks!

How Far along: 15 weeks!

Baby size: Naval Orange

Total weight gain: 0 (or -0.4)

Maternity clothes: Pants.

Sleep: Sleep is the best thing ever.

Best Moment this week: More baby wiggles, and getting the house closer to ready to sell.

Movement: Yep, a few times a day.

Gender:  Still thinking boy.

Labor signs: N/A (A few Braxton Hicks contractions here and there, but not anything real yet)

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Peaches, mayonnaise (this child has an unholy love of mayo on sandwiches/burgers, or fries...), basil

Aversions: Random food smells, coffee smell, coffee...

What I miss: Coffee. Having energy.

Stretch Marks: No new ones but my old ones are becoming a little more noticeable. Wow are they pale.

What is different this time around: EVERYTHING. Well. Mostly.

What I am looking forward to this week: Meeting with a realtor on Sunday, maybe getting a massage on Monday. And our 10th anniversary this Sunday! Which we're celebrating next weekend.

Friday, July 4, 2014

14 Weeks!

How Far along: 14 weeks!

Baby size: Lemon

Total weight gain: 0

Maternity clothes: Pants.

Sleep: I love sleep, and I am eagerly awaiting the energy that supposedly should be showing up soon... But I still love sleep. And I've been sleeping like a friggin rock, so my shoulders have been all painful when I wake up at night.

Best Moment this week: Passing the 1 hour glucose test (without throwing up). BOOYA.

Movement: Occasionally, still light but definitely there.

Gender:  Still thinking boy, but I did have a dream that I gave birth and it was a girl, so really I don't know.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Peaches, good milk chocolate, breakfast bagel sandwich (which was a disappointment, and I should have just gone to Starbucks)

Aversions: The smell of other people's food. Coffee/the smell of coffee.

What I miss: Coffee. Having energy.

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Overall feeling better than the previous 2 pregnancies, morning sickness is pretty much history (rare moments of bleh, and I have to eat ASAP when I get up in the morning).

What I am looking forward to this week: We're installing laminate floors this weekend, and maybe going appliance shopping (new hot water heater, new fridge, new dishwasher). Whee!! But the bottom line is that we're getting the house ready to sell in a couple months so any progress is great. Plus the laminate is beautiful, and our 20 year old builder grade carpet is NOT.

13 weeks!

How Far along: 13 weeks! Hello, second trimester.

Baby size: Peach, apparently. Mmm, peaches.

Total weight gain: -2.2 pounds

Maternity clothes: Yeah. Pants, anyway. My regular shirts still work for now.

Sleep: I love sleep.

Best Moment this week: Generally feeling pretty normal! YAY!

Movement: Yep, occasionally, still very light.

Gender:  Still thinking boy, Dee still (loudly) insists that it's a girl (and that we should name her Flower).

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Peaches, pineapple, good milk chocolate, blueberry pancakes, chai

Aversions: Pickles, the smell of other people's food. Coffee. I actually tried an iced decaf coffee and it just made me feel pukey. So C got to finish it. Also, that nasty Glucola.

What I miss: Coffee. Not being uber sensitive to caffeine (chai makes me jittery! WTF?!)

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Overall feeling better than the previous 2 pregnancies. My hips have spread again (like with Dee) and I've been sleeping with a pillow between my knees. I'm only 13 weeks and I feel like a regular person most of the time, this is amazing!

What I am looking forward to this week: Since I'm feeling better and have a bit more energy, I'm going to try getting the dogs out for walks a few nights a week. Those miles aren't going to walk themselves! NOT looking forward to re-doing the glucose test next week, because I threw up 45 minutes into yesterday's. Dammit.

Friday, June 20, 2014

12 weeks! WHAT?!

How Far along: 12 weeks. Holy shit.

Baby size: Plum

Total weight gain: -1.5ish

Maternity clothes: Still just the 2 pairs of pants, but the panel makes my nausea worse if I'm feeling icky that day. So sometimes I wear pants with a hairband holding closed the fly.

Sleep: Yeah. Sleep is good. I usually wake up to pee in the middle of the night, so that's fun...

Best Moment this week: Starting to feel better!

Movement: Yes, rarely and very light.

Gender:  Still thinking boy.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Sushi, spring rolls (DID NOT stay down nicely...boo), french fries with ketchup. Pineapple with cottage cheese. Kit Kat bars. Peaches/nectarines. Fancy milk chocolate.

Aversions: Pickles, the smell of other people's food, fried rice smell. Coffee smell.

What I miss: Feeling normal, pants fitting, coffee. Having energy.

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Overall feeling better than the previous 2 pregnancies. My hips have spread again (like with Dee) and I've been sleeping with a pillow between my knees. I've also been feeling better the last few days, it's easier to discern hunger from queasy.

What I am looking forward to this week: More walking? And we're having a party tomorrow, so that's fun. I have an appointment next Thursday which I am dreading because they're making me do the glucose tolerance test even though I'm only 12 weeks, because I had GDM with J. I know *WHY* I have to take the test twice, but I hate it SO MUCH. On the upside I am also going to get to hear the baby's heartbeat so that's good. I am also going to lunch with my mom next Wednesday, which should be nice.

Friday, June 13, 2014

11 Weeks

How Far along: 11 weeks

Baby size: Lime

Total weight gain: -3 lb.

Maternity clothes: Slacks and jeans, one pair each. That's it though. I actually have one pair of jeans that were too big to begin with that do still fit.

Sleep: Lots, please. It's the only thing that tames the nausea when it gets really bad.

Best Moment this week: Date on Saturday, sleeping in until 9:30 on Sunday. My mom watched the kids for the weekend. It was wonderful.

Movement: Maybe? I swear I'm not crazy, I've felt very light bubbling sensations really low a couple times. It's not the same as gas at all.

Gender: I say boy, Dee says girl. Because she says she saw a hair bow on the baby's head at the ultrasound. Um...

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Pad Thai, bagel sandwich with egg and sausage (haven't had this, because in practice eggs don't sit nice). Pretzels seem to stay down well.

Aversions: Pickles, the smell of other people's food, fried rice smell. Coffee smell.

What I miss: Feeling normal, pants fitting, coffee. Not having puked. Having energy.

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Well, weather depending I still walk when I can. I've not really been up to it the last week or so. I have only had 4 really bad days so far (though today is not great), where I just feel dreadfully ill, versus just the low-grade nausea. The last 2 times I had it the opposite, where I very rarely had non-awful days. Still, 2 or 3 days in a row of feeling like ass is really demoralizing.

What I am looking forward to this week: More walking. Only got 1.4 miles in this week. :-/ Definitely getting some house cleaning done this weekend, plus Father's Day is this weekend.

Friday, June 6, 2014

9/10 Weeks!!

Well... Hello boobs. Yowza.

How Far along: 9 weeks (just kidding! Ultrasound changed my EDD, so I'm 9w6d)

Baby size: green olive? or prune? something in between?

Total weight gain: -1.2lb

Maternity clothes: Still just the slacks but will be buying more this weekend because now NONE of my pants button.

Sleep: Lots, please. Cannot get enough.

Best Moment this week: Ultrasound this morning!!!

Movement: N/A

Gender: Still thinking boy, though Dee is 100% sure it's a girl, and says she only wants a sister. She won't answer the question of "will you still like the baby if it's a boy?" other than saying "I only want a sister."

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Strawberries. Cole slaw. Trader Joe's pad thai boxes.

Aversions: The smell of coffee, other people's food...

What I miss: Feeling normal, pants fitting, coffee. Not having puked. On Tuesday there was a Vesuvius-proportioned event at work. Thank goodness it was in the bathroom, in a stall. I did have to clean up with paper towels and water and borrow a clean shirt. *AWFUL*

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Still walking regularly (or walking again, since the weather cooperated better). The nausea is overall way better than the previous two. That's not to say it doesn't completely suck at times, but in general I am not utterly miserable.

What I am looking forward to this week: Really trying to get in some yoga. Haven't yet. Definitely walking more. I got in 3.1 miles walking this week. Not great, but not awful, right?

Future updates will post on Fridays, since apparently that's actually when my weeks turn over, based on u/s and LMP. So. There's that.

Thursday, June 5, 2014

8 Weeks

WAY less bloat! Wow.

How Far along: 8 weeks

Baby size: Raspberry

Total weight gain: -0.4lb

Maternity clothes: I bought a pair of slacks for the days I have to dress nicer for work, because none of my other slacks would button. So that's the only item so far.

Sleep: Lots, please. Though if I wake up in the middle of the night (thanks, Dee...) I have been having trouble falling back asleep.

Best Moment this week: Feeling better on Wednesday, yay! Though I also had fun watching Tangled and Brave with Dee on Monday.

Movement: N/A

Gender: Still thinking boy, though Dee is positive it's a girl.

Labor signs: N/A

Belly button: In.

Cravings: Pad Thai. Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. Anything cinnamon is still very good. Strawberries.

Aversions: The smell of coffee, other people's food...

What I miss: Feeling completely normal, pants fitting, coffee.

Stretch Marks: No new ones.

What is different this time around: Still walking regularly (or walking again, since the weather cooperated better). No throwing up so far, and the nausea is overall way better than the previous two. That's not to say it doesn't completely suck at times, but in general I am not utterly miserable.

What I am looking forward to this week: Hopefully getting in some yoga. Definitely walking more. My first appointment is one week from today!! Yay!

Also, completely bizarre, I was reading to see how this pregnancy compared to #2 at 8 weeks, and my weeks rolled over on Thursdays with BOTH previous pregnancies too. WEIRD.
