35 Weeks/35 Days Left (in theory)

How Far along: 35 weeks?!

Baby size: 18-20" and somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-6 pounds. Apparently this makes her about the size of a small chicken, which I find funny.

Total weight gain: 17ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I like sleep a lot. I would like more of it. I actually feel like I'm as exhausted as the first trimester again.

Best Moment this week: Selling our house :-) and Thanksgiving.

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions are decently uncomfortable but not doing anything they shouldn't be.

Belly button: Kind of like a volcano. Technically out, but trying really hard not to be.

Cravings: Peppermint bark...chocolate... that's about it.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: The same things, plus I really miss running and being able to function and move around without being in pain. I desperately want to not be slow and hobbly but I think that's just not going to happen. I miss being able to use sinks/counters without my belly being in the way and me having to lean over awkwardly. I miss being able to put on shoes easily.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones :-) but that stupid PUPPPs rash is flaring up again.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Generally for the better, but the SPD I could do without.

What I am looking forward to this week:  I have no idea. Maybe getting our shiznit organized better so we can figure out what to send into storage and what essentials we need to keep out for us and the kids to stay at my parents' house for a few weeks. Probably doing some Christmas shopping, picking up a couple baby essentials that we don't have any more (boppy, baby bathtub) which we could potentially need before Christmas/while staying with my parents. We also have Friend Thanksgiving tomorrow.

34 Weeks. Hold me?

How Far along: 34 weeks

Baby size: 18"ish and about 5 pounds

Total weight gain: 17ish

Maternity clothes: Definitely.

Sleep: I like sleep a lot. I would like more of it.

Best Moment this week: LISTING OUR HOUSE!! YAY!!! Andplusalso we "won" a $250 gift card for the Habitat for Humanity ReStore for only $50 from a silent auction at J 's school. School gets money, we get money for our new house when that happens, win/win!

Movement: Yep.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions are getting more uncomfortable, but nothing exciting (which is great)

Belly button: Well... in the morning it's in-ish, but in the evening it's out, so, I guess confused.

Cravings: Chocolate. Especially chocolate ice cream/milk shakes. Especially especially the GoodTimes flavor of the month frozen custard from October, but it's not October any more so I can't get it. Le sigh.

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: The same things, plus I really miss running and being able to function and move around without being in pain. I desperately want to not be slow and hobbly but I think that's just not going to happen.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones :-)

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Generally for the better, but the SPD I could do without.

What I am looking forward to this week:  Getting offers? Selling our house? Not losing my mind?

33 Weeks!

How Far along: 33 weeks

Baby size: 18"ish and about 4 1/2-5 pounds

Total weight gain: 16 pounds

Maternity clothes: Yes. I think I need another shirt or two (again) because even some of my maternity shirts are getting short...Also, I've commandeered one of C's winter coats.

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more. I'm seriously exhausted by like 7pm every day. Oy.

Best Moment this week: Getting my maternity support belt, haha. Do I know how to party or what?! But seriously, I can actually walk normally again, it's awesome!

Movement: Yes. Lots. She's very strong.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions, but nothing exciting (which is great)

Belly button: As Dee put it, it's "pretty puffed out" but still kind of flat... so not in anymore.

Cravings: Nothing new. :-)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux every day. Being able to get comfortable at night.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones, and the rash seems to be under control! Yay!

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. Also, just for fun, I found a formula that is as reliable as ultrasound at predicting baby size (according to an actual scientific study!). Assuming this girl goes to 40 weeks, she may be 8.1 pounds. That's more than a pound bigger than both my previous kiddos! To be fair though, I also calculated it for my other two and it was 11-17% high for both of them, so maybe she'll only be...7.2 pounds. Hmm. Still bigger, but I'm thinking she'll be closer to 8, because I've felt her giant head in there.

What I am looking forward to this week: Getting the house sparkly for pictures to list on Wednesday (didn't get done this week because it was like Canada cold so we all sort of hunkered down and just tried to be warm).

32 Weeks. Holy shiznit.

How Far along: 32 weeks

Baby size: 17"ish and about 4 pounds

Total weight gain: 14-15 pounds depending on the day

Maternity clothes: yep

Sleep: Yes, please. Gimme more.

Best Moment this week: Progress on the house, just finishing stuff left. Also, finding out that the realtor wants to list the house for $15K higher than originally, and that she's really impressed with what we've done. :-)

Movement: Yes. Lots. She's strong enough to make uncomfortable jabs (like being jab-tickled from the inside) and she gets the hiccups a decent amount of time.

Gender:  Girl!

Labor signs: BH contractions, but nothing exciting.

Belly button: In. Ish.

Cravings: Chocolate. Coffee (though really, it's more an I need coffee thing...)

Aversions: Nothing new.

What I miss: Bending over, not having heartburn/acid reflux every day. Being able to walk without being in pain.

Stretch Marks: Still no new ones, but still itching like a mofo and if I skip a day on the steroid cream the PUPPPs rash flares more.

What is different this time around: Mostly everything. The SPD/instability is new and sucky, but mostly manageable as long as I do the exercises to strengthen things. It's definitely getting worse, though, my whole pelvic bone just aches when I get up in the morning or from sitting down a while.

What I am looking forward to this week: LISTING THE HOUSE! EEEEEP! And getting a maternity support belt. Boy do I know how to live it up.
